Site: Crested Butte, Colorado

The Collaborative provided a variety of services for the developers of Skyland Ranch and Country Club. The first of these was to provide plans for the development of approximately 450 acres near Crested Butte, Colorado. The site design included an 18-hole golf course and clubhouse facility, lots for clustered and detached residential use with high density around the fairways, delineation of natural hazards and unproductive building sites, location of roads, schematic design and location of a commercial area for the residents of the development, and location of employee housing. A fiscal impact analysis was prepared for the Town of Crested Butte and Gunnison County, a financial/funding analysis completed, and design guidelines for covenants were prepared for the developers. A prototypical site for individual lots and schematic clustered building designs were the final portion of the project.
