Client: Historic Surveys for Environmental Assessments

The Collaborative has performed Section 106 environmental assessments for the communities of Alma, Brush, Buena Vista, Canon City, Center, Central City, Frisco, Lafayette, Idaho Springs, Montrose, Rangeley, Silverthorne, Superior, Saguache County, Colorado, and Gonzales, California. Each assessment has required an analysis of the effect that a proposed federally funded project might have on any properties listed on, or eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places. In many cases, no survey work had been completed, and the historical and architectural significance of structures affected by the project had to be evaluated.
